Carrington Consulting (Bryce Carrington)
Computer and IT services company dedicated to serving small to mid-sized businesses and residential customers
S.T.A.S. Strategic Technical Assurance Services (Aaron Steele)
Technical assistance for small business, other organizations and residential customers, in partnership with local colleges. Delivers highly efficient customer service as well as job training and work experience for local area students.
The Male Clinic (Marsha Battee)
Diagnosing, treating and managing the health conditions of the underserved DC male population aged 18 and older. Also promoting better health though advice on overall wellness, prevention and family planning.
Bamma Phi Bamma (Brandon Haynes)
Urban satire initiative based in Washington, DC which includes talent promotion, a humor website and the staging of live comedy shows in the DC metropolitan area.
Axis (Hans Hardisty)
Online business that simplifies the process of applying for legal funding, streamlining and facilitating the process for plaintiffs, lawyers and funders.
Case Koozie (Adnan Hussain)
Highly lightweight and flexible container for cold beverages, based on aluminum thermal technology and neoprene insulation.

NEW VENTURE MENTORS
New Venture Mentors www.newventurementors.org is a business incubator and start-up funding source for young adult entrepreneurs with limited access to capital. Through a combination of seed funding and extensive “hands-on” mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, New Venture Mentors provides talented young adults from disadvantaged or low-income backgrounds with the means to translate their business ideas into true operating enterprises.
Through the support of the New Venture Mentors program, prospective entrepreneurs can develop their businesses to the point where those ventures can qualify for further investment capital or loans. The ultimate aim is to build a portfolio of viable start-up businesses with further growth potential, and at the same time, to create a cadre of young entrepreneurs will become role models for others in their communities.
